Tell Me Nothing From The Horse
Together we binge the best episodes of the Youtube series «Tell Me Nothing From The Horse» by theatre and film actress Thelma Buabeng and get to know five women. They couldn't be more different and for that very reason they satirically reflect a cross-section of our society: Gladys (a fanatical Christian and preacher from Bonn), Annemie (she's not a Nazi, but...), Vivian (has only one goal: to become famous), Mary-Jo (chilling, writing song lyrics and above all saving the world, but first of all rolling a spliff) and Naomi (has founded the WD.COM (White Devil) network). In sofa interviews, the five discuss what's going on in the world right now; whether it's dating platforms, the war in Ukraine, Covid measures or Black Lives Matter, nothing and no one is spared.
Thelma Buabeng is also guest at auawirleben with her stand-up comedy format Security.
Thelma Buabeng, born in Ghana in 1981, attended acting school at Cologne's Der Keller theatre and completed her acting training at the Berlin Filmschauspielschule in 2009. She started her career with appearances in television and movies. As of 2016, she has performed at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, the Berliner Ensemble, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Thalia Theater Hamburg and the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
